Leeds 1 - Tottenham 3

We performed well tonight and could of scored 7 or 8 goals. However, we have got to be pleased with the result and the teams overall performance. We worked hard from the off and we got what we deserved which was a convincing scoreline. What I am really pleased about is the fact that we kept pushing throughout the game and didn't let Leeds get a foothold from which to gain traction. The performances of Gareth Bale and David Bentley were positive points as was Defoe's hat-trick of course! Robbie Keane signs for Celtic on loan until the end of the season

Robbie Keane has singed for Celtic on loan until the end of the season. I think this is a good move both for Robbie and the club. Robbie is a great player that hates not to play and had the option to play for a boyhood team and he took it. Tottenham Hotspur have now managed to reduce the striker line up and keep the undervalued Roman Pavlyuchenko in the team. I am pleased about this as I believe that Roman has a lot more to offer Tottenham and can still forge a good career here. This way we can have a look at how Eidur performs and see if it's right to get rid of Robbie on a permanent basis. All in all a good move for everybody.

Younes Kaboul is back with us at Tottenham

Younes Kaboul has been re-signed from Portsmouth. All in all I am pleased with this purchase. I didn't understand why we sold him in the first place as I thought he showed real potential to be a class center back one day. He is quick, strong and excellent in the air and is exactlty the type of player that we need to bring in to shore up our central defensive options what with both King and Woodgate struggling for fitness. We now have three good young and two older experienced center backs at the club and I for one think that is an improvement.

So yet again we throw 3 points away with a last minute goal! Can't believe it. We played well against a good team that are proving increasing hard to beat at home but we have to look at this as two points dropped. On a positive note we have got one more point and remain in fourth place.

Tottenham Hotspur today revealed Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan until the end of the season

Tottenham Hotspur today confirmed a deal to bring the 31 year old to spurs for the rest of the season on loan. The deal must now signal the end of Roman Pavlyuchenko's time with us. I'll be talking more about him at a later entry but the rumor mill are currently mentioning Birmingham FC as a move?. But now it's all about Eidur Gudjohnsen. There is no doubt he can be a class act when he is on form and I've seen him play some sublime football in the past. However, he wasn't doing anything at Monaco was he! Overall, I think it's a good deal for us though because he is class and he knows he won't be playing all the time so will probably prove a better fit as the fourth striker then Roman who needs to move on for the health of his career and mind.

Stadium delay?

Apparenly CABE have decided that our little project in WHL may not gel to their tastes quite enough for them to give a nod of approval. Well, It will be a great deal better than what is there now and lord knows that area of London could really do with regeneration project like that which spurs are planning. I am sure it will be sorted out no problems.

Peter Crouch Funny Vid :-)

Harry did us proud with the Peter Crouch purchase. He is proving a valuable and capable Spurs player. And as a bonus he doesn't take him self to seriously either and adds comic value to the team. A spurs favourite in the making?

Great result today from the lads. Pav didn't play because of an injury and i think that must spell the end of his time here. As for the other boys I was pleased with Bales performance today and also pleased for Bentley. He started today and got a goal from a deflected free kick. I have to say I was surprised at how lacklustre Fulham were today as i was expecting them to put up more of a fight but I can't say that I am unhappy about that! Also, what happened to Liverpool? That's a great result for us. Let's keep it up lads and build on this. Now just need to sort out our away form!

Tottenham v Fulham

It's 7.45 pm and the k.o is not long now. Can we win? We bloody need to. We have Man City and Liverpool breathing down our necks and this is a must win. I am worried but think we will come through this. What will be interesting is if Pav gets a go on the pitch today. He looked useful the other day and he did score! Harry give the lad a go. finger crossed. Match analysis to follow. :-) Maybe if i can be bothered. After all no one is reading this anyway. What fun.
